Where the Light Enters
Shadow and the Fierce Grace of Illumination
The Wounded Healer is an ancient archetype of the human condition, one who may be deep within grief, pain, or loss and yet continue to heal, love, tend, and care for others.
Every rite of passage begins in the dark.
It is within the shadows that we are called to face our wounds, bringing them into consciousness and opening the possibility for transformation. Light and shadow are not opposing forces, but necessary contrasts through which we come to know ourselves more fully.
The fierce grace of the Wounded Healer lies in the strength to love, care, and hold the light for others while moving consciously through the shadows without becoming them.
The wound is the place where the light enters.
